About Uttaranchal University Dehradun
Uttaranchal University was established in 2013 and is a group of institutes that includes Law College Dehradun (2002), Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal Institute of Technology (2006), Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, School of Agriculture, University Polytechnic and school of applied and life science (2016). School of Hospitality Management and School of Media and communication studies (2018), School of Liberal Arts (2019). It is accredited by NAAC with a grade of A+.
Uttaranchal University Dehradun offers UG, and PG courses in the fields of law, technology, management, pharmacy, agriculture, Polytechnic, Hospitality Management, media and communication, and arts. Admissions are done based on the entrance examination, interview, and merit depending upon the course.

Uttaranchal University Scholarship
Uttaranchal University encourages meritorious students of weak background by providing them Scholarships. The following are the details of Uttranchal University Scholarship:
Merit scholarship for Law programs: This scholarship is applicable for candidates who have taken admission in BA LLB (Hons.), BBA LLB (Hons.), LLB, and LLM programs. Award of Merit scholarship on tuition fee is 10%. Candidates who have scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2 or Graduation are eligible to Apply for this Scholarship
Merit Scholarship for program other than Law: This scholarship is applicable for 1st year students who have taken admission to UG and PG programs other than law. Award of Merit scholarship on tuition fee is 30% if candidate has scored 90% or more in the qualifying exam. Award of Merit scholarship on tuition fee is 20% if candidate has scored 80%-90% in the qualifying exam. Award of Merit scholarship on tuition fee is 10% if candidate has scored 70%-80% in the qualifying exam. Candidates are eligibile to apply for this Scholarship if they have cleared the qualifying exam in 1st attempt.

Uttaranchal University provides all the top-notch facilities to the students that are –
Library: The library of Uttaranchal University contains all the books related to the programs, journals, and magazines. There is an e-service portal as well
Computer Centre: the center has high-performance computers with Windows Labs, and state-of-the-art servers with the support of a 1000 MBPS fiber optic network that connects the academic department hostel, library, and other blocks of the center. The IIT Campus center works 24 hours a day 365 days a year with connected with 70 MBPS high speed and uninterrupted connectivity
Auditorium: Auditoriums has a capacity of 1200 students at one time with a sound system which comprises 26 Yamaha speakers, dotted cinema screen, multiple motor operator, theatre curtains, control room, microphones, stage of hosting, fire alarm, safety system, etc
Hostel: The capacity of the hostel is wide for the students and there is a separate hostel for boys and girls. Single bedrooms, double bedrooms, 3 bedrooms, and 4 bedrooms are also provided. The mess is also attached to the hostel. Every room is furnished with beds, mattresses, a study table, a chair, and a cupboard.
Medical facility: The 24-hour medical facility is provided for the students. Everyone is insured for a medical claim for rupees 75000 and a medical claim for daycare for 10000.
Cafeteria: Open-air Nescafe joint that provides muffins, sandwiches, coffee, soft drinks, and hot snacks to the students, taking care of their proper hygiene and health.
